Acorn HIPs was formed in August 2007. We are a local family run independent company. The aim was to make us the most competative Hip Pack Provider in the area without compromising on quality of service. On the 21st of May 2010 HIPs were suspended, but the EPC was kept due to EU law, because of this we decided to rebrand the company in the name of: "Acorn Propery Services" Keeping all the same princables that made us a very succesful HIP company.

We now have some good news: We are going back to full Building works. Extensions, Conservatories, Alterations, full Property & Garden maintenance.

Before HIPs were required by law we ran a building company that was Buy With Confidance, TrustMark registered. We use time served local trades people that are confident & experianced in their trades.

What Estate Agents say about EPC Providers.

1. You have to buy your EPC through your estate agent.

There is NO legal requirement to buy your EPC through estate agents. All Energy assessors have to be accredited with a goverment body, and licenced to use the software, that gives you the energy report you require to market your Home. The componants are the same, whether purchased through estate agents or EPC providers.

2.They can't do it for that price.

We can do it for that price. Our overheads are low and there is no referal fee to your estate agent on direct sales.
